The entrepreneurial company Eiendomsappen (now called Propely) is ready for the next step.

“We are growing and need more space,” says Moe Lundquist.

The young entrepreneurial company has just moved into the newest premises of ROM office space in Wergelandsveien 3. The startup has exceeded all expectations and the interest from investors has not been long in coming. And with growth, there is also an urgent need for more office space.

ROOM Office space is created for entrepreneurial companies and small business that need flexible scaling of their office needs. This suits the young entrepreneurs perfectly in the phase they are in now.

“ROM was the offer we found with the best quality and at a price that makes us all super satisfied! It seems that many different types of companies are gathered here. Some are in the field of real estate even. Our room is zoned to five and is the smallest. If we get more people, we can switch to a bigger office. Meeting rooms and training rooms are included in the rent, and there is a possibility to arrange lunch in the house canteen, says Kristoffer Moe Lundquist.

They also have access to a cloakroom and bicycle parking.

Dream Office

“After the start-up, we see this place as the serious next step,” he says.

Co-founder Ole Lassesen Ekern also boasts of the office space.

We haven't been here long, but are generally very happy. Here we have all the facilities and the normal notice period of three months,” he says. For small companies in the start-up phase, it is very difficult to plan the need for office space in the near future. Therefore, it is impossible to conclude long agreements that large parts of the rental market require. At ROM Kontorfelleskap, companies can easily move between smaller or larger premises as the needs change.

Young talents

The entrepreneurs are only 20 years old, but in a short time they have managed to put in place investors and solid customers. The boys were hired through the summer two years ago as they developed a prototype of the service.

“When the result was as desired, we founded Eiendomsappen AS. We worked on the system at the same time as we finished high school,” says Kristoffer Moe Lundquist.

Together with his childhood friends Steinar Halvari Seim and Ole Lassesen Ekern, he has been programming, creating small games and apps since elementary school. This interest has borne fruit.

We have always been super interested in technology. In middle school we started “EasyCoach”, communication platform for sports teams. Today it has over 33,000 users in more than 50 countries. Based on this, we were contacted by real estate companies who wondered if we could develop a similarly intuitive system for the real estate industry,” says Moe Lundquist.

Eiendsomappen will create more satisfied tenants, as well as simplify and streamline operations for property managers.

They themselves are very satisfied tenants of the ROM Kontorfelleskap, where they have been staying for the past month. It's a perfect landing spot after working with the company full time for one year.

The next step is commercialization

— Now we are fully investing in the Eiendsomappen! The next thing now is to find good strategic partners. Not least, the ambition is to take the app to the rest of Norway and out of national borders,” says Moe Lundquist.
We have brought in new investors. In the New Year, a lot of attention was paid to us, young entrepreneurs who want to change a conservative industry. In the last month alone, we have more than doubled the number of users. After the summer, it has really picked up! Over 300 properties are managed on the app as of today. With additional employees, we decided to take the step forward to ROM,” he says.

The entrepreneurs have not regretted it. It has very representative premises in central Oslo near Slottsparken. It is a good place for growth in terms of the team and a new type of network, according to the entrepreneurs.

As of today, ROM Kontorfelleskap has three locations in Oslo. The newest addition is in Wergelandsveien near the Royal Palace, where the Eiendsomappen is located. The other two popular office spaces are ROM Glasmagasinet and ROM Pilestredet 75 c.
