When Glitner Eiendom started using Propely, they met the startup process with great curiosity. Operations Manager Jonas Hellerud says that they quickly began exploring and pushing around the system. This proactive attitude helped them quickly become comfortable with Propely and thus be able to fully exploit the platform's potential from day one.
We asked the Operations Manager for his top tips for getting started quickly and efficiently with Propely:

Glitner Eiendom, part of the United Bakeries Group, is responsible for the Group's property-related business and investments. In the portfolio of 21 buildings and a total of 55,000 m2, they have large production properties, warehouses/logistics facilities, as well as apartment buildings and commercial sections in several cities.
Glitner Eiendom actively uses most of the modules in Propely, with the main focus on FM to collect and organize its documentation in an easy and clear way. Documentation is shared with suppliers to ensure that all parties have access to up-to-date and relevant information. This improves both cooperation and communication between the parties.
When it comes to deviation management, Glitner Eiendom can report and follow up on deviations that help ensure that appropriate action is taken. The entire process is documented in the platform and can be shared with relevant partners, such as to fire departments at supervision or to board meetings. The Operations Manager says that they also run a bakery in Oslo and use the Propely app when they go on their conservation tours.
“Oslobakeriet is one of our tenants, but also part of the Group. We quickly saw that it was possible to make Propely available to our tenants if they so desired,” he says.
They've also adopted the AI inbox, which simplifies and automates the handling of service reports and appointments. By sending the documentation directly to Propely, the technology will find the right vendor, executor, date and lists deviations/measures, with more, that are identified in the report. This solution has helped Glitner Eiendom digitize and automatically categorize large amounts of documentation quickly and efficiently, saving time and reducing the risk of human error.
With its proactive attitude towards new technologies, Glitner Eiendom is constantly working to improve its own use of the platform.
“We want to get more of our suppliers to use Propely directly for deviation management,” says Jonas.
They are also recording all technical installations with the right information so that they can create automated tasks related to service agreements. In addition, Glitner Eiendom has commissioned Unloc's gateway phones to several apartment buildings, where user access can be assigned directly from Propely.
We asked Jonas what should be done in Propely to improve their workflow. The desire was to continue and evolve the AI inbox to be even better.
“We hope the AI inbox continues to evolve so that it becomes even more precise and makes more choices for us. It will simplify the work from the submission of documentation to its being stored in the right place with the right links. This will save time and, to an even greater extent, reduce manual tasks,” he says.
